the US military's survival scenes in Iraq. In particular the bomb squad which often hanging on by a thread between life and death. it shows the soldiers struggling with robes and pain, but unfortunately is not to talk about the invasion of Iraq more deeper meaning, and also gave a powerful image of the dedication of the soldiers ' spiritual life in the end part which especially with the hero's back with exciting music.
Directors is obviously in order to please the United States honors the spirit of patriotism and warrior sacrificing image. This outcome of the height and depth are being limited. If replaced with another end part, it will be completely different. It's a pity for other good parts.
駐伊拉克美軍的生存景象，尤其是常常命懸一線之間的拆彈小組，有拍出軍人們同袍間的掙扎與痛苦，但非常可惜的是並沒有去探討到入侵伊拉克更深層的意義，且在結局更強大了奉獻生命的軍人精神形象，特別是加上那英雄式背影與振奮人心的音樂，很明顯導演是為了討好美國的愛國榮譽精神與勇士犧牲形象，而讓這片的高度與廣度都被結局侷限住，如果換成另一種結局，這片的高度完全就會不一樣，相當可惜了前面九成的好戲，⊙⊙⊙○
PS. 剛找各版海報發現底下都有一行WAR IS A DRUG，怎麼有臉放這句上去，這片並沒有討論戰爭的意義，而是由軍中出生入死的士官小人物的日常勤務來帶觀眾看見戰爭實境，用不是大美國主義的角度來看，可惜結尾卻刻意營造了一個奉獻自我出生入死的美軍英雄形象，讓前面整部片的層次立刻消失，轉變成了一個政治正確的愛國電影。讓我想到肯洛區的愛爾蘭大道，這片可以看見戰爭對人與社會的影響，愛爾蘭大道這片才更適合WAR IS A DRUG這個標語。
